Frequently Asked Questions

Contact our chapter president Jennifer Williams at arkansas@aarbaa.com or call (501) 555-0167. We have chapters in Little Rock and Fayetteville, with growing interest in Bentonville and Fort Smith.

The AARBAA Arkansas chapter advocates for separated cycling infrastructure through presentations to the state legislature, city council meetings, and collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Transportation to implement protected bike lanes across the state.

We currently have 198 active members across 2 main chapters in Little Rock and Fayetteville, with particular strength in the Northwest Arkansas metro area.

Arkansas faces challenges with limited existing bike infrastructure outside of urban cores, high-speed rural highways, and the Ozark mountain terrain in the northwest requiring specialized protected lane designs for hills and curves.

Yes! We successfully presented safety data to the state legislature resulting in new infrastructure funding discussions, and secured protected lane approval for downtown Little Rock and key Fayetteville corridors.

Infrastructure Issues We're Addressing
